Chinatsu Wakatsuki 若槻千夏 is a popular 22 year old gravure idol, actress and singer from Saitama. Her real name is Kurihara Chiharu (栗原千春) and she is a former race queen and Jpop singer.
In 2000 she auditioned for pop group Morning Musume but did not make it. Undeterred, she became a gravure idol in 2002 and part of the race queen group wi☆th with Iori, Hoshino Kana, and Takasugi Satomi. Due to the popularity of the group, they were signed to record label Avex for a limited time.
In 2003 Chinatsu became popular on the television show “Kyaiin Shiki“. Since then she has continued to model, host television shows and write a column in Seventeen magazine.
